Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, fully equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies designed to support our treatment methodologies. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for our patients. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and objectives of each patient.
• Maintain an optimal patient-load ratio of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and high-quality care delivery.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance movement, increase strength, and improve overall functional capabilities.
• Advocate for patients by proposing non-surgical and medication-free alternatives, promoting natural recovery processes.
• Document and monitor patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapeutic journey, helping them achieve their maximum potential.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and modify plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Restore Wellness Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with diverse patient demographics including athletes recovering from injuries, elderly patients seeking improved mobility, and individuals with chronic pain issues. Our focus is on individualized care that respects each patient's unique circumstances, aiming to elevate their quality of life through specialized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida must be maintained.
• Demonstrable expertise in manual therapy techniques and the design of customized exercise programs is essential.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license is permitted.
• Proficiency with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is required, aiding in efficient patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued and will be prioritized in the selection process.
• A background in developing and executing diverse therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs is preferable.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to address complex patient cases is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
