Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students’ communication and academic success as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this dynamic school-based position located near San Jose, you’ll collaborate with experienced SLPs, educators, and a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality support for children with diverse speech and language needs.

Openings are available for both full-time (up to 35 hours per week) and part-time schedules, allowing flexibility to match your availability and lifestyle. Multiple positions are open, and specific campus locations will be discussed during the interview process.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license/certification for California
• Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for empowering students and collaborating with educators
• Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced educational environment
• Familiarity with IEPs and progress documentation is a plus
• Positive, team-oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech-language pathology treatment plans developed by licensed SLPs
• Provide consistent support for students both individually and in small groups
• Assist with screenings, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Document student performance and contribute to IEP goals
• Foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for all students
• Communicate regularly with the supervising SLP and school staff
