Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Requirements Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, and intracranial pressure monitoring 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; coworker references are not accepted Responsibilities Acute care hospital Neuro ICU setting Weekend night shift schedule: Friday and Saturday nights, every other week (rotation every 4 weeks) Night shift hours: 19:00-07:30 (3x12-hour shifts) Estimated patient ratio of 1:1-2 Required skills include IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring Epic EMR used; experience preferred Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity Block scheduling and paired traveler scheduling are not available for this position Final schedule details will be clarified by the manager during the interview Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to or at the time of consideration and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an assignment; candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will be mailed a fingerprinting packet to complete urgently Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase near the medical center, including garage and surface lot access with shuttle service Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-733017 Open Positions: 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
