Lock Assembler

Job Duties Follow FIFO guidelines for orders. Read and understand the order correctly to begin assembly (top to bottom). Start with external assembly process, including placing knob/lever on worktable. Attach plastic washers and add grease. Place shims, plates, springs (depending on request). Test handle to ensure proper mechanism function; verify installation is not too tight nor loose; team lead may assist to attain correct tightness. Add springs/spindles to handle and make adjustments as needed. Proceed with assembling inside component (repeat steps 1‑10 as instructed). Complete hour‑by‑hour sheet with dates, times, and discrepancies. Maintain clean workstation throughout shift; keep only needed product; refill bins. Training Stages Day 0‑27: Complete 10 pairs per hour. Day 27‑55: Complete 15 pairs per hour. Day 55‑85: Complete 22 pairs per hour. Expectations Meet productivity goals—22 pairs per hour. Meet quality goals. Willing to work in a fast‑paced, intense environment. Work independently. Varied working hours as required. Demonstrate good work ethic. Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequent walking or standing for long periods. Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs. Salary and Benefits Hiring Pay Range: $19 USD per hour (actual salary may vary based on experience, education, etc.).
