About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its faith-based counseling organization. This role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, an active, unrestricted therapy license, and a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative capacity. The Executive Director will be expected to integrate a Christian perspective into the organization's mission, vision, and values, and to maintain a personal and professional commitment to the faith-based approach. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, staff management, financial oversight, and fostering a strong relationship with the Board of Directors and the local community. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a background in mental health and a deep understanding of the counseling field, including the ability to stay current on emerging trends and evidence-based practices. They should be adept at providing clinical supervision, managing a personal caseload, and ensuring the organization's compliance with legal, ethical, and accreditation standards. The role also demands strong skills in human resources management, operational oversight, and financial administration. The Executive Director must be a spiritually mature individual, embodying the values of humility, approachability, and compassion, and be dedicated to the holistic support of clients, leading with grace and truth. Experience in a nonprofit or faith-based setting is preferred, and the candidate should be prepared to live in the Cedar Rapids area and be willing to obtain the necessary credentials in Iowa if licensed in another state.
