With a personal approach to business, our employees—whether in one of our branches nationwide or at our corporate office—are committed to serving our customers and supplier partners with dedication and expertise.Associate II, Warehouse Overview:Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and qualityAssist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide basic customer service functionsMay perform basic modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirementsOversight of outbound shipment processesAssist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requestedEnsure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety and company standardsOperate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidentsContribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operationsIdentify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issueReport company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety riskThis position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as neededComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededAssociate II, Warehouse Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification3+ years in a high volume warehouse environmentAbility to Read and Write in EnglishValid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications: Prior welding/torch experience, Proficiency in SpanishAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, and sit upAbility to use hand to finger, handle, or feelAbility to climb or balanceAbility to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawlAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to talk or hearThe pay range for this position is $22.45 - $34.28/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
