The College of the Arts Dean’s Office seeks an Undergraduate Student Recruitment and Student Lifecycle Specialist to support college‑wide undergraduate student recruitment, student engagement, and student experience initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic & Student Affairs, this position serves as a member of the College’s advising and recruitment team and plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and implementation of undergraduate recruitment activities, student‑facing events, communications, and initiatives that support the undergraduate student experience across the College of the Arts. This position also supports initiatives related to the undergraduate student lifecycle experience, including assessing student engagement and success trends, coordinating student experience initiatives, supporting alumni engagement efforts, and strengthening connections between current students, alumni, academic programs, and campus resources. Responsibilities Undergraduate Student Recruitment (45%) Research best practices and appropriate audiences for student recruitment, aligning practices with central admissions. Devise and implement methods for collecting relevant data and gathering feedback on recruitment materials and practices. Collaborate with the Advising and Recruitment Team to develop and implement an annual schedule of recruitment activities, including distributing materials for undergraduate and graduate programs and electronic advertising. Represent the college at campus events such as Santa Fe Gator Days, Florida Days, and other appropriate events. Monitor undergraduate applicant‑to‑admit and yield rates, provide reports, and plan yield events as appropriate. Develop and maintain undergraduate student recruitment materials, both print and online. Assist prospective or current students, parents, and visitors who contact the dean’s suite via phone, email, or in person. Assist in managing key college‑wide student events, such as the College of the Arts Spring Recognition Ceremony. Student Lifecycle Experience (35%) Gather data and make recommendations regarding the overall trajectory of the undergraduate student experience. Develop and implement tools to gather information related to the undergraduate student experience. Disseminate knowledge related to campus resources that might enhance student success. Identify potential gaps in resource availability or access and recommend solutions. Recommend other initiatives to enhance the student experience lifecycle and work with the Associate Dean to implement them. Pursue strategies for improving student experiential outcomes across the College of the Arts. Alumni Engagement and Support (20%) Liaise with the College’s Advancement team to coordinate alumni engagement and support initiatives. Develop a web‑based platform to collect names of alumni interested in connecting with current students or serving as mentors. Engage alumni in recruitment and yield activities. Work with alumni to determine professional development needs, creating focus groups or boards when appropriate. Track and report alumni successes with a database co‑managed with Strategic Communications. Conduct alumni focus groups and surveys. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Experience in an office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Demonstrated capacity for effective engagement in recruitment. Familiarity with collecting, analyzing, and presenting data for decision‑making. Evidence of success in developing and implementing initiatives related to the student experience lifecycle. Salary and Benefits $52,000–$54,000 with a comprehensive and highly competitive leave and benefits package.
