As our HR Specialist, you will wear a few different hats, taking ownership of the employee lifecycle and keeping our compliance sharp:
- Onboarding & Orientation: Welcome our newest team members! You'll coordinate the onboarding process (including formal written offers, background checks, and drug screenings) and lead orientation sessions to immerse new hires into TRG's culture, policies, and procedures.
- Benefits Administration: Manage our employee benefits programs from enrollment to changes and terminations. You'll be the go-to resource for employee questions and problem-solver.
- Payroll Administration: Ensure our team is taken care of with accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Employment Compliance: Stay ahead of the curve on employment laws and regulations. You'll assist with compliance audits and ensure we are always adhering to company policies and legal procedures.
- Employee Engagement & Relations: Help us maintain a workplace people love. You'll contribute to engagement initiatives, organize team activities, manage recognition programs.
We are looking for someone who balances strong administrative skills with great people skills. The ideal candidate has:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience working in an HR capacity (staffing industry experience is a plus, but not required!).
- Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can explain complex policies in a simple, friendly way.
- Discretion: A proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Mindset: A positive attitude, a team-oriented approach, and a genuine passion for helping others.
