Branch Manager II

Scope of the Role As Branch Manager II, you lead a high-volume branch (annual revenue $5M+) and ensure consistent financial performance, compliant operations, and reliable patient service. You are accountable for branch strategy, execution, and results. Key responsibilities include: Own the branch P&L, driving revenue growth and operating income. Partner with Sales to strengthen relationships and expand market share. Direct daily functions across customer service, distribution, and respiratory services. Set workflows, schedules, and procedures to improve productivity and quality. Manage inventory for durable medical equipment, supplies, and facility resources. Hire, onboard, train, and coach staff; set clear expectations and evaluate performance. Enforce policies, safety standards, and healthcare regulatory requirements. Required qualifications/skills: Demonstrated leadership of teams (2+ direct reports) and complex operations Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership Ability to resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism A Typical Workday Your day starts by reviewing prior-day performance dashboards and prioritizing what needs attention—service levels, open issues, and financial checkpoints. You meet briefly with team leads to align on staffing coverage and ensure handoffs between the front office, warehouse, and clinical areas are smooth. Midday is often spent on cross-functional coordination—checking in with Sales on active opportunities, confirming timelines, and removing operational barriers. You stay visible on the floor, validating that documentation, safety practices, and facility readiness meet expectations. The day typically ends with follow-ups on escalations, progress on branch initiatives, and planning for tomorrow so the team can execute with clarity and consistency.
