The ideal candidate will oversee the facility’s business office operations, support financial accuracy, and ensure administrative processes run smoothly while contributing to quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily business office operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections.

• Process resident billing, insurance claims, private-pay accounts, and related financial documentation.

• Verify insurance coverage and assist with Medicaid and Medicare billing processes.

• Maintain accurate financial records, resident accounts, and confidential employee and resident information.

• Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and employee records as needed.

• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support budget tracking.

• Coordinate with facility leadership, residents, families, vendors, and corporate departments.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, facility policies, and financial procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a business office or administrative management role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business,accounting, healthcare administration

• Knowledge of healthcare billing, accounts receivable, collections, and insurance reimbursement processes.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private-pay billing preferred.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial or healthcare billing software.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
