Account Manager - Wilmington, DE

Position Summary Account Manager, US Petcare Division; field based. Utilize solution selling, territory management, and business planning to maximize sales performance in the assigned geography. Travel required and some evening work for educational programs; candidate should live within the territory. Position Responsibilities Sales Performance Meet overall sales objectives (quota) overall and for key growth products via demand generation within targeted geography. Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads. Selling Skills, Technical Knowledge, Customer Value Delivery Demonstrate Solution Selling capabilities. Build and demonstrate relevant technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and veterinary practice expertise. Build effective relationships with and service all targeted hospitals/personnel to maintain and grow relevance and access within each account. Interact with customers per Zoetis promotional guidelines. Territory Management and Teamwork Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation; implement resources and follow up to maximize ROI. Meet field activity expectations (sales call activity and investment in medical education programs). Develop and execute an account/veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations. Work professionally with colleagues; meet expectations for integrity/compliance, communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork. Education and Experience BS/BA required. 3–10 years consultative sales experience; proven success driving sales performance. Animal Health experience and small animal veterinary medicine knowledge. Ability to use analytics/insights, manage budgets, work independently, and incorporate feedback. Technical Skills Requirements Verbal/written/presentation/interpersonal/communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems. Physical Position Requirements Ability/willingness to travel and work some evenings as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
