Family Nurse Practitioner

An established outpatient family practice is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative setting. The role involves managing both acute and chronic conditions while building long-term patient relationships. The practice works as a team of nurse practitioners, physicians, and clinical staff.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, day shift.

Salary of $98,000 to $143,000 depending on experience, plus a potential sign-on bonus.

You will provide primary care services in an outpatient family practice setting, assessing, diagnosing, and treating both acute and chronic conditions. You will develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate, and educate patients on preventive care and wellness. Working alongside physicians and clinical staff, you will help ensure quality patient care across the practice and maintain accurate, timely medical documentation. The role offers clinical autonomy within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New York State RN license
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) for prescribing
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Prior outpatient or family practice experience
• Experience managing chronic disease in a primary care setting
