Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedure steps with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure quality diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately in electronic medical systems while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Stay informed on the latest advances in ultrasound technology and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
