Staffing Coordinator

Harmony Health Harmony Health Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Staffing Coordinator to manage nursing schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage for all shifts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and publish complete weekly nursing schedules in a timely manner. Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Monitor daily staffing needs based on census and facility requirements. Respond promptly to call‑outs and arrange replacement coverage. Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly to employees and nursing leadership. Review timecards and timesheets for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies. Track attendance, absences, overtime, and agency utilization. Maintain accurate staffing and scheduling records. Assist with reducing overtime and agency usage while maintaining appropriate coverage. Work closely with the Director of Nursing and Administrator regarding staffing needs and concerns. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, consistency, and fairness in all staffing matters. Perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Previous staffing or scheduling experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to handle call‑outs and last‑minute staffing changes efficiently. Must be dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure. Knowledge of scheduling, timekeeping systems, email, and Microsoft Office. Must be available to assist with urgent staffing needs when necessary. Job Type: Full‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
