Healthcare Cleaning Technician
Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings across the Midwest region. This role involves ensuring that operating rooms and common areas are disinfected according to strict infection control standards. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, properly handling and disposing of both regular and biohazardous waste, and adhering to all safety and infection prevention policies. The position requires working both independently and collaboratively to meet departmental goals.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred- Previous related experience is a plus- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred- 1-2 years of relevant experience recommended
This full-time role operates on the first shift, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, including rotating weekends and holidays.
