Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H Days Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Years of Experience Required: - Usually 3 years of experience required, will consider 2-3 years of experience if candidate has level I trauma center experience and at least one travel assignment - Travel experience required - Previous charge experience preferred Certifications Required: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) - CPI* (Crisis Prevention Institute) - NIHSS* (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Skills Required: - Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias - EPIC charting system experience - Acute psychosis* - Arterial line management* - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood product administration - Care of ventilated patient* - Central line care/management - Chest tube insertion/management* - Continuous IV sedation - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - Drug overdose* - Emergency medications* - Gunshot wounds - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV vasopressors - Management of dysrhythmias - Managing violent behavior* - Neuro-Trauma* - Ortho trauma - Phlebotomy - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Spinal cord injury* - Starting and maintaining IVs - STEMI Certified Facility* - Stroke Certified Facility* - Suicidal patient* - Traumatic amputation* - Traumatic brain injury* - Triage Licensure and Legal Requirements: - Pending License accepted: Yes - MO: Submit without license OK; requires MO or compact license - IL: License in hand required at time of submittal - No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius Additional Information: - Will need to pass Relias EKG exam - RTO Restrictions: no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract, all RTO must be finalized at time of submission - No RTO allowed the first week of an assignment - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only \* Some skills are marked with an asterisk, indicating specialization or advanced proficiency required.
