SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accounting professional looking to further develop their skills within a structured and collaborative accounting environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies Complete accurate data entry related to financial transactions and accounting records Assist with compliance filings in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements Prepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines Review and assist with the approval of promotional accruals, ensuring proper documentation and proper accounting treatment Support general accounting functions and assist with special projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills SAP experience preferred SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY None WORK ENVIRONMENT Office PHYSICAL DEMANDS To successfully perform the duties of this job, the person is regularly required to sit, stand and walk. Lifting of product cases may also be required.
