We provide Paid-Training – no prior medical experience required . Prior warehouse or inventory experience a plus!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview) :

When you join our team , you will provide support to the collections operation by acquiring , distributing and maintaining supplies and equipment used in the day-to-day blood collections operation. You’ll also be responsible for **the delivery and return of materials to internal and external customers. ** ** **

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities) :

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes,labelsand canteen supplies.Prepare blood collection kitsin accordance withestablished directives.

• Take inventory and order supplies fromthe warehouse,maintainingcollections’ supply and equipment area. Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites 

• Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers

• May drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies and equipment where applicable and as needed 

Standard Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• To best meet the needs of our donors andcommunity,staffworkavariable schedulewhich may includeearly mornings, late nights, weekends,and holidays.

• Schedule is providedtwo to threeweeks in advance

Pay Information:

• Starting rate $17.00/hour.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications) :

• High school diploma or equivalentisrequired

• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills arerequired

• A current, valid driver's license witha gooddrivingrecord is required.

• Ability to carry moderate weight isrequired

• Operational flexibility isrequiredto meet sudden and unpredictable needs.  Must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds of weight; reach, bend, kneel, climb, push and pull; work in tight spaces. 

• Abilityto use a variety of hand and power tools and work with a variety of chemicals andsolvents.

• Basic computer skills arerequired. Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.
