Facilities Maintenance Assistant/Handyman

Location: Jasper, TX

Salary Range: $14.00 - $15.00

Join our team and help keep our community looking its best! The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for property upkeep, and assisting with maintenance projects to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Key responsibilities include:

• Complete apartment make-readies, including painting, repairs, lock changes, and cleaning.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Identify and report safety or property concerns.
• Assist with maintenance work orders and special projects.
• Support other properties as needed.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of make-ready or porter experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Valid Texas DL.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
