Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your workday, however, you may be required to attend in-office meetings or training sessions occasionally. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient availability and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the psychosocial needs and recovery goals of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions, guiding patients through their recovery process in a supportive, empathetic manner.

• Lead group therapy sessions designed to foster connection, shared experience, and collaborative support among individuals on similar recovery journeys.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and community resources to bolster recovery efforts.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role involves working with a diverse population experiencing substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as either an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
