This role operates within a flexible remote work environment, allowing therapists to engage with clients through virtual platforms. Our outpatient office is structured to facilitate comfort and convenience for both clients and therapists. The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic. You will collaborate with a team of fellow mental health professionals who share a commitment to mindfulness practice as a therapeutic tool.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based interventions, including structured MBSR programs, to assist clients in managing stress while enhancing their overall emotional and physical well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to accurately identify individual stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals. Tailor mindfulness exercises and strategies to each client’s unique needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques during individual and group sessions, fostering self-awareness, emotional balance, and resilience.

• Facilitate group workshops focusing on mindfulness, stress management, and strategies for building resilience, encouraging peer support and shared learning.

• Integrate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions to address specific mental health concerns, engaging clients in their therapeutic journey.

• Document client progress meticulously, tracking the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions and updating treatment plans as necessary.

• Participate in regular personal mindfulness practice, self-reflection, and ongoing professional development to continuously enhance skills in mindfulness-based therapies.

The clients you will serve at Gotham Enterprises Ltd range from adolescents to adults who seek support for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Proven experience in a clinical setting with at least two years of relevant practice in mental health counseling.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic practices to promote client well-being.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for establishing rapport and creating a calming therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
