Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, particularly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in reducing stress and enhancing emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clients' individual stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, crafting personalized mindfulness practices that align with their needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, to facilitate self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress relief.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops and educational sessions focusing on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, helping clients develop skills in a supportive environment.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, addressing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.

• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach, ensuring that every aspect of a client's mental health is monitored and addressed.

• Maintain precise and thorough documentation of client progress with mindfulness interventions, adapting treatment plans as needed to reflect evolving needs.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development to further expertise in mindfulness strategies and enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• While not mandatory, extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred to effectively implement mindfulness practices.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions, contributing to positive client outcomes.

• Exceptional communication skills that foster a calm and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering mindfulness-based therapies or similar therapeutic approaches, particularly in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
