Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Maricopa Counseling, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify customized treatment pathways.

• Developing and individually implementing detailed treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and the enhancement of emotional resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitating both individual therapy and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to process their experiences and learn coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals within our network to deliver integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to client support.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support for clients in trauma-related emergencies, including the timely assessment and management of risk factors.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and resources available to aid in the recovery process.

• Maintaining meticulous, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be collaborating with a diverse range of clients affected by trauma, including adults who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, or loss. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and extensive knowledge of trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
