Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through structured telehealth sessions, documenting clients' progress from their initial consultation to the conclusion of their treatment.

• Develop individualized and group treatment plans tailored to address the unique needs of clients encompassing individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions, including one-on-one counseling and structured group therapy sessions, focusing on skill-building and emotional regulation.

• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create coordinated care plans for clients.

• Provide regular follow-ups with clients transitioning from acute care or hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and discussing ongoing treatment goals.

• Identify potential behavioral impediments to recovery and implement proactive strategies to address these challenges.

• Support and educate family members and primary caregivers about mental health issues and the recovery processes relevant to their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong familiarity with electronic health records, specifically utilizing systems like AVATAR for efficient client management.

• In-depth understanding of mental health treatment methodologies and the impacts of various medication prescribed by other healthcare professionals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective client relationships and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in a telehealth or remote setting.

• Experience working with clients struggling with co-occurring disorders or complex psychological conditions.

• Dedication to continuous professional development and familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
