Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, strengths, and challenges, tailoring treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma and learn healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, coordinated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate care.

• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and resources available to support their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients living with trauma-related disorders, encompassing a diverse client base with unique backgrounds and experiences. You will serve individuals struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, providing them with the skills and support needed to reclaim their lives. Your empathetic and patient-centered approach will be key to building rapport and fostering trust with clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts is necessary.

• Proven knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a profound understanding of trauma-informed therapeutic modalities are crucial.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
