Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments aimed at understanding patients' backgrounds, trauma histories, and their unique needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the enhancement of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide your therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients navigate their healing journeys and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Maintain close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to ensure immediate support for those in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for additional support.
\n
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards by maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in trauma therapy to continually enhance our treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment interventions.

Preferred Experience\n
