Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for students experiencing mental health issues, including emotional disturbances and behavioral challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy that is suitable for a school environment, focusing on brief, solution-oriented methods.

• Engage in collaborative problem-solving with teachers and parents to ensure a supportive educational experience for students.

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Lead crisis intervention efforts when necessary, ensuring a swift and appropriate response to students in acute distress.

• Monitor individual student progress closely and adjust treatment approaches as needed to achieve optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will focus primarily on a diverse population of students within the Boston area, particularly those from under-resourced backgrounds. Your client base will include children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, promoting resilience and coping strategies to enhance their academic and social development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, with a valid LCSW license in the state of Massachusetts.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience working in mental health settings, particularly with school-aged children.

• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills specific to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with students and families.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
