Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate and understand clients' mental health challenges and strengths, ensuring effective service delivery.

• Provide individualized, family, and group therapy tailored to the unique needs of students, encompassing varied cultural backgrounds and life experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Develop collaborative and client-focused treatment plans that outline clear goals, interventions, and methods for progress monitoring.

• Work jointly with a multidisciplinary team—comprised of psychiatrists, nurses, educators, and community outreach coordinators—to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, including conducting risk assessments and formulating safety plans to manage emergent situations effectively.

• Advocate for clients' rights, connecting them with necessary community resources and providing robust case management support.

• Engage in proactive community outreach and mental health awareness initiatives, fostering a supportive environment both within the school and the greater Houston community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse population of students ranging from elementary to high school age, along with their families. The focus will be on addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. By providing culturally sensitive and individualized care, you will support students in overcoming personal obstacles and achieving their educational and personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
