Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and identify their strengths and areas for growth.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and family systems therapy to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

• Design and implement treatment plans that outline targeted goals, planned interventions, and methods for monitoring progress over time.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals—including psychiatrists, nurses, and educational staff—to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the holistic needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning to ensure the safety and well-being of at-risk students.

• Advocate for clients' rights and connect them with appropriate community resources for additional support.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness, reducing stigma and increasing accessibility to services.

This role centers around a diverse population of students and families in the Woodbridge area, representing various cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a critical role in fostering mental wellness and supporting the recovery of children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is mandatory.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
