Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and the convenience of working from home. However, as a member of our detox center team, you will assess and treat clients in a collaborative online environment. Working remotely does not diminish the commitment we have to cooperation and communication among our staff, as regular video meetings and team gatherings are integral to our approach in client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs, mental health status, and resources available to them.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing established evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed care methods.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that encompass both therapeutic goals and practical interventions aimed at promoting clients’ recovery and wellness.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to mental health treatment.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, conduct risk assessments, and assist clients with safety planning when necessary.
\n
• Accurately document client interactions and therapeutic interventions in a timely manner, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
\n
• Lead and conduct group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering a sense of community among participants.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals under care within a detox center, many of whom may be experiencing complex challenges related to addiction and mental health disorders. This population often presents with high levels of need for emotional support, coping strategies, and therapeutic interventions that can promote their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient treatment environment, ideally with exposure to substance use treatment.

• Demonstrated understanding of, and experience with, evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a remote therapeutic setting is a plus.

• Knowledge of various mental health and addiction treatment modalities.

• Prior involvement with interdisciplinary mental health treatment teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
