Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs via phone and in-person to develop effective intervention strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and empathy to ensure safety and stability.

• Facilitate access to essential services by guiding clients and families toward community resources, including mental health services and social support.
\n
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities and interventions aimed at fostering resilience and healing.
\n
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate case records for compliance and reporting purposes.

• Participate actively in regular supervision, training, and team meetings to enhance practice and improve service delivery.

• Monitor for signs of child abuse and report suspicions in compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on serving a diverse population of children and adolescents, addressing their unique mental health and social needs. Clients may be affected by various social and familial issues, including but not limited to, trauma, substance abuse within the family, or instances of domestic violence. The LCSW will work closely with clients' families to provide holistic support and educate them on available resources and interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical social work or a similar environment is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain organized documentation and case notes while adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.
