Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs through telephonic and virtual consultations, gathering relevant background information to inform intervention strategies.

• Engage and connect clients in beneficial activities and resources, encouraging their participation in positive, therapeutic endeavors.

• Deliver crisis intervention when necessary, employing therapeutic techniques that prioritize safety and emotional stabilization.

• Provide vital information and support to clients and their families, facilitating understanding and guiding them through available services.

• Establish and maintain accurate case records, preparing detailed reports to track progress and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and their families who are grappling with issues such as emotional disturbances, neglect, domestic violence, and parental substance abuse. Understanding the specific developmental and cultural needs of these populations will be crucial in tailoring your approaches and interventions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, combined with a solid background in diagnosis and treatment for diverse populations.

• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills to convey clinical information clearly and compassionately.

• Demonstrated organizational abilities, including proficient record-keeping and report preparation.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience as a clinical social worker, preferably within a school or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
