Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while also being connected to our outpatient facility's resources and support systems. You will have a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a healthy work-life balance. Within our remote setting, you will have access to collaborative tools and methods to ensure seamless communication and teamwork with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, using techniques such as MBSR to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing their overall mental health.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' emotional and psychological challenges, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, guided meditation, and breathing techniques that foster emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions to address specific mental health issues and support clients' therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated treatment approach for our clients.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of client interactions, including progress notes, mindfulness interventions, and personalized treatment plans.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and personal mindfulness practice to deepen your expertise and share knowledge within our team.

Your work will primarily involve helping adults who are seeking relief from stress, anxiety, and emotional disturbances. Each client has unique backgrounds and experiences, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approach. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is required.
