Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, aimed at helping clients reduce stress, gain relaxation, and enhance their overall mental well-being.

• Conduct initial comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client's unique stressors, challenges, and goals, subsequently tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their specific needs.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness techniques, meditation, and breathing exercises to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Lead group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices and stress management strategies, encouraging participants to develop skills in resilience and coping.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure that mindfulness practices are effectively integrated into a holistic treatment plan for clients.

• Maintain precise documentation of client interactions, intervention techniques applied, and treatment plans tailored to the progress of each individual.

• Engage regularly in personal mindfulness practices, self-reflection, and professional development to deepen your expertise in mindfulness-based approaches and stay current with emerging practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents, presenting with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other emotional challenges. Our focus is on providing a supportive, compassionate, and safe environment where clients can explore their challenges and develop effective coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in integrating mindfulness-based strategies into therapeutic interventions is essential, as is a commitment to ongoing educational development.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a mental health clinician.
