Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective treatments.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records that comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.

• Engage closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create a holistic treatment approach.

• Facilitate regular case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.

• Continuously stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As Mental Health Counselors at Crestwood, you will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This includes those grappling with severe anxiety, depressive disorders, traumatic experiences, and other psychological issues that impact their daily lives. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, offering compassionate guidance and support in a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions to tailor approaches uniquely for each client.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside strong interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking to address a variety of client challenges effectively.

Preferred Experience\n
