Mid to Senior Level Commercial Real Estate Associate - Denver

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate (5–7 years of experience) to join our nationally growing real estate practice in Denver. Key Responsibilities As a mid to senior level associate, you will play a critical role in advising institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including: Structuring and executing acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across diverse asset classes (office, retail, logistics, healthcare/senior living, student housing, hospitality, data centers) Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, commercial leases, and joint venture agreements Conducting and managing due diligence, including title, survey, environmental, and zoning reviews Advising on development projects from entitlement through completion Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across tax, construction, planning & zoning, and other practice areas Supporting clients with day-to-day operational real estate matters, including lease amendments, assignments, subleases, and tenant issues Qualifications Required J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials 5 – 7 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm Admission to the Colorado bar (or admission pending) Demonstrated experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Preferred Experience with multi-jurisdictional Familiarity with real estate development and capital markets structures Exposure to institutional clients, private equity funds, and REITs Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Commercial mindset with a client-first approach Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth What We Offer Opportunity to work on market-leading transactions with top-tier clients Exposure to innovative deal structures and emerging real estate sectors Robust training and development programs Supportive and inclusive firm culture with cross-office collaboration Competitive compensation and benefits Hybrid work flexibility With more than 1,200 lawyers in 31 offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP is a fully integrated global law firm that provides clients with connected legal advice, wherever and whenever they need it. Pursuant to the Colorado pay transparency laws, BCLP is posting a reasonable estimate of a base compensation range for an Associate with five to seven years of experience. At the time of posting, the estimated range is $250,000 to $340,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
