Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $140,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead period end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting across general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, revenue activity, and supporting schedules to maintain accurate records.
• Support daily accounting operations, including coordination of payables, receivables, payroll, and expense processes.
• Assist with cost tracking and inventory analysis by working with operations to evaluate performance and margins.
• Contribute to process improvements, system updates, and audit readiness while supporting cross functional reporting needs.

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, and close cycles.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and ability to apply them in practice.
• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with accounting systems and supporting system implementations.

• Certified public accountant credential or progress toward certification.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or inventory driven environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Detail oriented work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced setting.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments and improve processes.
