Job Summary***$9,000 Sign on Bonus***Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.Responsibilities*Perform diagnostic MRI procedures following established protocols, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.Review patient histories and MRI safety questionnaires to confirm procedure suitability and compliance with HIPAA regulations.Position patients using age-appropriate hearing protection and immobilization, optimizing anatomical area visibility.Maintain MR safety standards for patients and staff.Select appropriate imaging coils and operate MR equipment, evaluating image quality and ensuring accurate documentation.Prepare and administer contrast media under Radiologist supervision, according to departmental guidelines.Provide clear instructions and support to patients, students, and health professionals.Demonstrate exceptional guest relations and uphold strict patient confidentiality.Maintain clean, well-stocked scan and control rooms, routinely restocking supplies and linen.Collaborate continuously with technologists, lead technologists, and multidisciplinary teams.Train new staff as needed and perform check-in or patient preparation duties to ensure uninterrupted operationsPerform other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications*Registered MRI Technologists by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)OREnrolled in an MRI program, and eligible to complete the ARRT or ARMRIT MRI Registry.
