Help Desk/Data Analyst - Election Operations Support

This contract Help Desk/Data Analyst role supports election operations from a central operations center in Dallas, Texas, covering early voting and Election Day. The position combines help desk ticket response, high-volume outbound calls, and data tracking and reconciliation using advanced Excel. Role Overview You will work onsite in the central operations center supporting early voting and Election Day activities. The work is fast-paced and requires accurate follow-through, clear communication, and reliable reporting as priorities shift throughout the day. The assignment runs from October 7, 2026 through November 10, 2026. Responsibilities Monitor the help desk ticket queue and respond to requests from polling locations Place outbound calls to polling locations, election judges, and other election personnel to resolve issues and confirm status Track, update, and escape issues to ensure timely resolution Maintain accurate logs, trackers, and status reports in Excel Reconcile and analyze election operations data, identify inconsistencies, and report findings to leadership Build and update spreadsheets using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and filters Support leadership with quick data pulls as priorities change throughout the day Work Breakdown 75% Help Desk 25% Administrative and Excel-based work Work Schedule Voting days: 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM (Oct 19 to 24, Oct 26 to 30, and Nov 3) Sunday voting: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Oct 25) All other days: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Required Skills and Qualifications Help desk, service desk, call center, or customer support experience, including ticket monitoring ( 2 years required ) Strong phone communication skills and comfort making high-volume outbound calls ( 1 year required ) Proficiency in Excel and Outlook Ability to stay calm, organized, and accurate in a fast-moving environment Must pass a background check before starting Availability for the full assignment, including extended voting-day hours Advanced Excel skills :
