IT Support Technician

IT Support TechnicianThe IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support to employees and helping maintain the company's IT systems, devices, and infrastructure. This position supports both office and production employees by troubleshooting issues, setting up equipment, and ensuring technology systems operate efficiently.The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and enjoys solving technical problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day technical support to employees.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.Set up computers, monitors, phones, and other equipment for new employees.Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.Support printers, scanners, and other office devices.Prepare and deploy laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment.Maintain IT inventory and track company assets.Perform basic network troubleshooting.Monitor IT systems and management tools.Support ManageEngine operations and alerts.Perform patch management and endpoint maintenance.Document IT procedures and help improve processes.Assist with IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsExperience1–3 years of IT support, help desk, or related experience preferred.Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Technical SkillsPreferred knowledge of:Windows operating systemsMicrosoft 365Active DirectoryBasic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Printers and scannersDevice deployment and troubleshootingManageEngine or similar IT management toolsSkills & AbilitiesStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasksSelf-motivated and dependableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds.Ability to move throughout office and production areas.Ability to install and move IT equipment as needed.
