Senior Frontend Application Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Application Developer to lead the architecture, development, and optimization of our high-performance web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for building responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate complex workflows into modern, maintainable frontend applications, while establishing best practices and mentoring engineering team members.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture & Application Development

• Architect, build, and deploy complex, highly scalable web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
• Design robust, reusable UI component libraries and maintain system design standards to ensure UI consistency across all products.
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, state management, and rendering speed across diverse devices and browsers.

UX/UI Execution & Quality Standards

• Work closely with product designers to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces and smooth interactions from Figma or Sketch wireframes.
• Ensure web accessibility (WCAG / ADA compliance), internationalization, and semantic HTML standards across all client-side platforms.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) to maintain high code reliability.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with backend engineers to define and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers through code reviews, technical documentation, and architecture discussions.
• Evaluate and introduce modern frontend tools, libraries, and frameworks to continually enhance the development ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Core Web Technologies: Mastery of modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass/Tailwind CSS.
• Frameworks & Libraries: Advanced proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) and state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Query, or Pinia).
• Tooling & Build Systems: Deep experience with modern build tools, bundlers, and package managers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Babel, npm, yarn, pnpm).
• API Integration: Strong understanding of asynchronous HTTP requests, WebSockets, RESTful API consumption, and GraphQL.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, pull request workflows, and frontend CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Soft Skills & Domain Requirements

• Strong technical communication skills with an ability to translate product requirements into modular, maintainable technical specs.
• Keen eye for detail, design alignment, and user interaction flows.
• Pragmatic approach to balancing speed of feature delivery with long-term code maintainability and scalability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience developing complex, consumer-facing or enterprise web applications.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Nuxt.js) and static site generation (SSG).
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, performance profiling (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse), and Web Vitals optimization.

• Salary Range: $135,000 – $165,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
