Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) – Glendale, California, United States. Start date: 09/14/2026. 14-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,864–$3,091. Shift: 5x8 days (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). Hospital setting. This is a travel temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed ionizing radiation according to physician prescriptions and patient identification
- Explain procedures and maintain patient communication during treatment, ensuring comfort and safety
- Deliver the prescribed daily dose while observing radiation safety practices for patient and staff
- Prepare treatment room and equipment, assist with immobilization devices, and transfer the patient to the treatment couch
- Monitor patients for unusual reactions or complications during treatment and report findings to the supervisor and department physician
- Maintain accurate treatment records and patient charts, ensuring proper documentation of blood counts and related reports
- Provide clinical supervision and evaluate students’ practical abilities as assigned

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT) – Required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in radiologic therapy
- Certifications: Current BLS or CPR preferred (CPR/BLS/HS-BLS/RQIBLS)
- Additional: Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice preferred
- Licensure: Ability to work in a hospital setting as part of a travel assignment
