The Certified Paralegal will provide essential support to a small legal team, primarily assisting with litigation cases. Reporting directly to an attorney, this role involves a variety of duties including legal research, document drafting, case management, and client communication. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, with occasional travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy
- Draft and prepare legal documents accurately and timely
- Manage case files and coordinate case activities
- Interact professionally with clients and other stakeholders
- Organize and maintain legal files and records
- File documents with courts and agencies as needed
- Assist with trial preparation and logistics
- Enter and maintain case data efficiently
- Maintain clear and timely communication within the legal team
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in paralegal work
