Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts: day shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or night shifts 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (13-week contract)
• Contract ends on Sunday rather than Saturday
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - may be low censused in 4-hour increments
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeding, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
• Must have 2+ years nursing experience (firm requirement)
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccinations
