As a Director of Software Development I, you will lead a team of talented developers to create cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software applications.What you'll do:Lead and manage a team of developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.Experience you'll need to have:8+ years of experience in software development and programming4+ years of experience leading teams4+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages4+ years of experience in SQL databases4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices4+ years of experience with Agile methodologies8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experienceExperience that would be great to have:Experience in the financial services industrySalary Range$146,000.00 - $244,800.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York.
