Enterprise Healthcare Technology Project Manager

Responsible for leading the implementation of enterprise healthcare technology initiatives focused on CMS interoperability and prior authorization compliance requirements. The role involves managing complex cross-functional projects, driving collaboration across business and IT teams, and ensuring successful delivery of healthcare data platform solutions aligned with organizational and regulatory objectives.

Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale Prior Authorization system implementations.

Ensure compliance with CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule requirements.

Drive project execution across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure phases.

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to support delivery of standardized integration solutions.

Oversee resource planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, issue resolution, and change control activities.

Provide regular project updates, dashboards, milestone tracking, and executive-level reporting.

Coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrixed enterprise environment.

Track technical and development-related issues to ensure timely resolution.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure project deliverables align with organizational healthcare data platform strategies.

7+ years of IT project management experience.

Proven experience delivering complex initiatives in healthcare environments.

Experience managing cross-functional teams within enterprise organizations.

Strong understanding of healthcare operations including claims, eligibility, and provider data.

Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to present project updates and status reports to senior leadership.

Strong technical background with ability to understand development challenges and technical dependencies.

Experience with project management methodologies and governance processes.

Experience working with healthcare data systems and enterprise healthcare platforms.

PMP certification preferred.

Direct experience managing Prior Authorization system projects.

Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
