Publicity Coordinator

KATRINA WAN PR seeks a film publicity coordinator who is a hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, reliable multitasker with a professional demeanor. Public relations experience is A MUST! This is a very hands-on experience with a great opportunity for growth for the right candidate. **PRIOR PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED** DUTIES: Updating and researching media contacts Pitch media for review, assets, listings and interviews Schedule and oversee interviews between talent, filmmakers and press Updating publicity status reports Help organize press junkets, premieres, live television tapings and press screenings Creating and updating production notes to distribute to press Accompanying talent to local appearances including live television, radio and podcast tapings BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree Interest in public relations and/or the film industry PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to multitask Research skills Proficient at Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Dropbox Cision / Muck Rack experience a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
