Job Summary:
Home Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Cooperstown, New York. This role involves providing outpatient home dialysis care, patient assessments, clinical management, and education. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires flexibility to travel between clinic locations and to patient homes, primarily for initial assessments.

Job Details:

• Location: Cooperstown, NY
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (RN license), education, and experience including previous home dialysis or peritoneal dialysis experience preferred; strong assessment, triage, and patient education skills; ability to work independently after a brief orientation; personal vehicle required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous home dialysis experience, peritoneal dialysis experience, and experience with dialysis patient training.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Travel between clinic sites in Cooperstown, Oneonta, and Little Falls may be required. RNs will travel to patient homes primarily for initial home assessments, with occasional follow-up visits as needed. Orientation involves shadowing an experienced team member, after which the nurse is expected to manage their patient panel independently.
