Associate Director, Full Stack Engineer

Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Designs, develops, and deploys full stack solutions, applying technical expertise to deliver scalable, high-quality systems that align with business objectives. Works on full stack development projects of significant complexity, contributing advanced technical skills and knowledge to deliver impactful results.What will you do?Design and develop full stack application solutions, including coding, testing, and implementation processes to ensure high quality deliverables that meet business and user requirements.Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to analyze business needs, propose technical strategies, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance system performance and scalability.Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends, leveraging insights to optimize development processes, address complex technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement in tools and methodologies.Contribute to technical discussions and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, organizational standards, and project timelines.Implement solutions for complex issues, developing clear, actionable recommendations and ensuring alignment on processes, tools and services.What do you need to succeed?Must-have7+ years of experience in software development with financial domain knowledgeStrong proficiency in Java 17, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and multithreadingExperience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA, including Spring Security, asynchronous REST endpoints, and data streamingKnowledge of relational databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL, with experience using ORM toolsExperience with microservices architecture and containerization tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and HelmFamiliarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for full stack developmentNice-to-haveExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing applicationsKnowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for building event-driven architecturesExperience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana for application observabilityWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
