As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Perimeter Assessment in Research Triangle Park, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. Observe and report security-related concerns, equipment issues, spills, or other unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel while following required protective-equipment protocols. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
